SCHEDULING AND MAKE-UP POLICY

STUDIO LESSONS: When you enroll, we schedule a consistent day and time to meet.
HOME LESSONS: Home lessons must be at least 45 minutes in length. Additionally, a commute fee in the form of travel time (to and from the studio) will be added to each lesson. For example, a 45-minute lesson that requires a 15-minute commute to the home will be charged as 75 total minutes of lesson time.
GROUP RATES: Group rates apply to classes that contain between 2-6 students. Group classes last for 60 minute, and cost $180 per month.
TUITION: Tuition is due by the 10th of each month; otherwise, a hold on lessons will be implemented until payment is received. Additionally, a $25 late fee will be applied to the amount due, and the lesson time and day will no longer be reserved until tuition has been paid in full.
24-HOUR NOTICE: For a lesson to be eligible for reschedule, a 24-hour notice must be given. If a 24-hour notice is not given, the lesson will be lost.
MAKEUPS: Even though a lesson may be eligible to be rescheduled, there is no guarantee that it will be made up. Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you. Make-up lessons are a courtesy for students.
LESSONS THAT QUALIFY FOR MAKEUPS: The following instances qualify for a lesson to be made-up. No exceptions will be made.
1. Teacher Cancellation: When the teacher is sick or cannot make it to studio for any reason. You will be notified as soon as possible if this happens. If you are unable to make-up a this type of cancellation, a credit will be applied towards the next month’s tuition.
2. Emergency-Student Cancellation: Life happens, and emergency cancellations are allowed. An Emergency-Cancel is considered as such when you give us less than a 24-hour notice.
3. Inclement Weather: Mills Guitar Studio reserves the right to cancel a lesson in the event of inclement weather. These lesson can be made up at another time, but these cancellations are not eligible for a credit towards the next month’s tuition.
REFUNDS: No refunds will be made for missed lessons, including lessons that qualify for make-ups. Additionally, there are no refunds of any kind after tuition has been paid.
ETIQUETTE
1. No food or drinks, except water, are allowed in the studio.
2. No children, whether Mills Guitar Studio students or otherwise, may be left unattended in the waiting area.
